Report: Technical studies of Soyuz Vostok pipeline postponed to Q3

MOSCOW, Mar 12 (PRIME) -- A technical and economic substantiation of the Soyuz Vostok pipeline designed to ship Russian gas from Sila Sibiri 2 to China across Mongolia is postponed to July–September from January–March, Mongolian newswire Montsame reported on Friday.

"The technical feasibility studies of construction of the pipeline should be finished until the end of the third quarter of this year. In this context, the sides agreed to optimize activity of a specially established joint company," the newswire reported.

Export capacity of Soyuz Vostok can exceed the capacity of Sila Sibiri by more than 30% at 50 billion cubic meters per year.
